Why is it important for you to understand personalities in the workplace? Think of both, knowing your own personality, as well as knowing how to recognize other people's personalities It is important because knowing the person can help you with how they're resposbilities are, or how they can help you with they're responses. If they are in need you'd know what's wrong with them. Other peoples responsibilties help characterize them and what makes them their own whole. That's why you should know about their personality
